Ornaments and Bird House's

Here are some Ornaments that I have been working on to fill this stand and a couple Bird House's. I have already started on the next stand and have a number requests for the little bird house's.

Those will look great on a tree! But how do you get the little birds trained to sit there for the pictures? ;) :cool: :)

Thanks guys, I got the Birds at Michaels Craft store. $0.99 for 3 and they have different types/colors of birds.

Mark, a good dab of thick CA glue makes them stand proud and vary-very still.:D

Lookin' good, Dick. How tall are your birdhouses? I make relatively small ones and never found a bird small enough to look right sitting on the perch. One of the guys in our club makes them larger and the available birds fit in pretty well.

Harry.....The bird house is 1-1/2" in dia, the roof is 2" in dia and over all it is 3-38" tall. The perch is 1/8" in dia by 1" long. These little birds are only about 1/2" - 3/4" in size and come in all different types/colors.

Nice work Dick. Did you make the stand too?

I did the same thing and glued a little bird to a birdhouse I made. I guess the bird was too big though, because he flew off with the house. :p
