does anyone have experience with fiber laser engraving on both 316 and 304 stainless steel? I know 316 is more expensive but I wonder if it deeply engraves better, leaving less of a rough edge? I’m purchasing some 316 stainless to test this out. When I deeply engrave the stainless that I have now ( with many different parameters) it leaves rough edges that must be sanded out and then inked. I’m trying to avoid the sanding and inking. Maybe 316 stainless will help? Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks so much, Marianne
