Did a little rust hunting today. Actually found a few reasonable items to my surprise too. What really caught my attention was this bit. I know what it is for, just have never seen one before. Before I screw it up using it I wanted to make sure it wasn't something rare and valuable item. The only markings on it are a C inside a Diamond on the shank.

I bought it intending to use it. Appears to be either for a #10 or 1/4" screw.

That is for a brace...drill and counter sink for a screw...It may chuck in a corded drill if you want to try....I only use braces and hand saws....maybe a draw knife and occasional shave....nothing you plug in:rolleyes:

Combined drills and countersinks like yours aren't paticularily rare or valuable. Use it and enjoy it!
I think the logo is of the Cleveland Twist Drill company.

I lied. The logo is an 'S' inside the diamond and a '1' after it.

Again, I know exactly what it is, thats why I bought it. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't something rare and collectible. I am a user, not a collector.
