I thought I'd try these out....box was built to house two #220 Block planes...

Have some leftover Ash, may see about re-doing this joint....
Bead details were with a Stanley 45.....then saw between the two beads, plane it smooth...hides the lid joint better.

Needed to plough two grooves...one for the bottom panel. and one for the lid's panel...

Lid had a round-over around the edges.
