Today I scored a pretty darn good deal on a MFT800. There was an ad for one local only. I called and it was still available. The gent had only used it once and really didn't need it. So for a benny ($100) and 40 minute round trip it is now in the shop getting used to the rest of the critters. Now to figure out where to store when not in use. He also threw in the multi-tool. I may upgrade it to the larger version later, but for now I need to study up the manual.

Good deal. I never had to deal with the storage issue for my MFT1080...I leave it up all the time as it's quite useful near the lathe as a convenient surface as well as for it's intended use.

Good bargain Scott. The best deal I could find on an MFT1080 was 25% off the catalog price for a used one from an ISA before they stopped selling demo gear. I now have two 1080's connected to make a nice, large work surface. Kind of pricey, but an excellent and versatile bench.

Sweet deal! I just leave my 1080 up so that I can use as needed without having to set it up each time.
