An issue of Colonial Williamsburg which arrived in today's mail gives a hint about what next year's FWW/Colonial Williamsburg clambake is to be about. At the end of an article about 18th century furniture featuring Mack Headley, Laare Loftheim, David Salisbury, et al the author said the Hay's shop was working on a "tall case clock which will be studied at the 2004 woodworking program". I thought this might be of interest to addicts of the January conferences.

Cool, thanks for the heads-up. Should be a real interesting piece.

I haven't received my issue yet, but I will be there as always. As soon as they open the signup, I'll be ready. This is the event I look forward to every year and my week of vacation is already reserved for whatever the dates are.

This is in January? Hmmm... I have in-laws in Williamsburg, and January is PRIME striper fishing down at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel as well...
