We have an uplight floor lamp with an r7s halogen bulb in it that's quite energy hungry, it's a 300 watt bulb if I remember correctly. We'd like to replace it with a good led alternative and we've tried some from a local house hold appliances store, one of them was a Philips and the other an Osram, but the amount of light they gave was too low and too cold. Can anyone recommend a good warm white led that's a real replacement for a halogen bulb?

Edit: It's probably important to mention the lamp has a dimmer and we run it about half open, maybe a bit less, so we would need something that can replace a 150 watt halogen bulb.

I was hoping someone might be able to recommend a specific brand.

Warm white led is normally about 2700K, a 6000K lamp will be much whiter. To get the amount of lumens that your 300 watt halogen produced you are going to need about a 30 watt LED. 30 watt R7S LED replacement (https://www.amazon.com/qlee-Dimmable-Floodlight-Replacement-Daylight/dp/B0779W24QD/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1544999079&sr=8-7&keywords=halogen+led+replacement+r7s)

I guess it's a matter of perception, I find 6500K to have a bluish cast. I have 4K LED tubes and find them closer to 'white'.
