well i phoned my order into rockler and found out that the antique brass knobs that i use (35857) are discontinued and no replacement is in the lineup.

i called Leevalley and figured i would order some more Antique brass decorative hinges (00e12.01 and 00e12.05) and was told that these products are no longer available, so i asked about the antique brass knobs of theres that i use (1/2*7/16 01a30.05) and was informed that there were 34 left in stock and when they are gone that would be the end of the antique brass knobs in that size so i ordered 24 of them and left the 10 for someone else.

i asked if Leevalley was going to replace these two products and and they look them up and could find nothing about replacing them.

So if anyone knows of any other source for these items i sure would like to know as i have been on the internet and not much luck.:( :( :(

Woodworker's Hardware (http://wwhardware.com/) and Custom Service Hardware (http://www.cshardware.com/) both have great customer service and are usually less expensive than Rockler. Both have great catalogs that are worth having on hand.

Antique brass "anything" has been hard to come by for some time now...the previous owners of our home stocked the mater bath with it and it's been a real struggle to find additional accessories, such as towel racks, etc., to match. We did find them, but paid through the nose for the priviledge. Sheesh!
