QS red oak ply

hey guys and gals! thanx so much for the info on the flooring stapler! that thing works great........ we are movin and groovin! best part. loml has learned to rack em so we are flyin! anywhoooo........

has anyone seen qs red oak?? and where can get some? the guy at my local ply distributor says he'd have to order 1k sheets!! yeehawww..

What thickness are you looking for? I did a kitchen a while back with QS red oak. The doors were framed with 1/4" flat panels. I veneered 1/4" plywood with QS veneer for the panels.

yeah, i need 1/4". good suggestion......... that'll gimme an excuse to get a pump and veneer bag!!!!!!! lol

The veneer I got had a wood cross banding on the back & I used contact cement. It worked out very well.

brad, i buy my raw veneer from certainly wood. greg engle is quite knowledgeable and honest. i don`t think they offer "backed" veneer? tod
