Bench top metal cutting band saw

Even though we are woodworking group most of us need to do some metal shaping from time to time. My past-time (period flintlocks) uses quite a bit more than others. For a number of years I've wanted a metal cutting band saw but couldn't affort several hundred bucks for one. Recently a Porta cable Portaband came into my possession which fulfilled my need perfectly after I fabricated a framework for a bench top band saw. You can read how I did it here on my web site.
