I have a vertically challenged wife too. I don't complain when she asks me to get the top shelf stuff because it means she is baking. :)

This is a really cool project... It's not something that I would have ever thought of building in wood, but I have to admit that it looks great and has me thinking about making a copy :).

We live in a 102 year old farm house full of my primitive and shaker inspired furniture. A metal commercial step ladder would not work for us. Plus it is a cool project. Thanks.
