Looking for recommendations on a useful vacuum bag size. I used a 35" by 48" space bag for my first project, but I'm not sure what size would be the best value for th long run. I'm under the impression that bigger is better here as even a tiny project could be clamped in a big bag, but not vice-versa. I'm looking at the bags at Joe Woodworker (http://www.joewoodworker.com/catalog/default.php?cPath=44&osCsid=e1d6837399789352e9820552b6f91349) which has 2x4, 4x4, 4x6, and 4x8 bags.

matt, get the largest you can. if you`re doing mostly flat work i`d suggest a 30mil poly bag, but if you`re doing lots of "in the bag" form work go with a 20mil poly. the vinyl bags are short lived from my experience. .02 tod

Made two Matt. One was ~ 48" by 48", the other is 26" by 72".
