Need drawer pulls to match this keyhole escutcheon. Refinishing a 1880-1900 short two drawer dresser. It's made out of plain white oak, has frame and panel sides, and the top has a slight curve towards the front. That escutcheon is the sole surviving piece of original hardware. The piece looks like it was refinished once before, maybe in the 1940-50's time frame, based on current drawer pulls which don't match the escutcheon.

Ball and Ball have that sort of stuff and can make reproductions to match.

Does anyone near you do centrifugal casting? I met someone recently who does it and she made some really wonderful castings in bronze, I bought a lego which is detailed down to the logo which was clear in casted form.

Take a look at House of antique hardware or maybe Vandyke restoration; you may find something appropriate.

Try Whitechapel Ltd, I bought some repro brass hinges from them for an antique card table I'm restoring. www.whitechapel-ltd.com

After stripping the finish I can make out a faint outline of the original drawer pulls, see below.

Drawers have pin and cove joinery which indicates the piece was made sometime between 1871 and 1900.
