My BIL gave me an old Delta 15" scroll saw years ago, never had a use for it until now. I need to cut some block letters out of 3/4" poplar. Outside curves can be done on my BS, but the interior cuts on the "A", "B" and "D" need either a jig saw or a scroll saw. No model number on it. I pulled up images of Delta scroll saws, never knew they made so many different ones. This one is obviously an entry level, being mostly plastic. Blades are about 2" long, but I can't figure out how to change them out if I can even find replacements. And if I can, am I wasting my time trying to cut 3/4" stock on it? The blade on it barely dents the wood.

I think it uses these blades. OLSONŽ Pin-End - Scroll Saw Blades - 3". You can still get them from http://www.sloanswoodshop.com/scroll_saw_blades.htm

Thanks Rick. I identified it as a Delta "Hobby" 15" scroll saw, model 40-500 I believe. Now if I can just find a manual to figure out how to change blades...still Googling.
