Love their shapers--what happened to them? Don't see anything on internet searches. It would be nice to know their history.

Thanks,
Greg Stahl

Invicta came about because some German engineers decided they could build a quality machine for less than were currently making in Germany. Off to Brazil they went. They made solid machines, but some of the fit and finish stuff was a bit cheap.

Even sadder, I've seen some junky Chinese stuff re-badged as Invicta Máquinas at a home center in Rio. Looked slightly above Harbor Fright level quality.

They made solid machines, but some of the fit and finish stuff was a bit cheap. They developed the RC-33 planer, sold by Delta, which morphed into the DC- 380, which is the grand dad of all the four post planers out there. Every time you see a "four poster," their legacy lives on

The Delta DJ-20 was theirs too as well as some other Delta machines.

Even sadder is the fact that a lot of that was bought by woodworkers like us.
