Accusquare fence

I have an Accusquare fence on my 1950's era craftsman TS. Problem is when I tighten the knob on fence it tilts fence to the right so to say if I set it to 2" when I tighten the knob it moves right to 2-3/8". Any idea how to fix this? Its been this way for a while just sick of it thanks Dave Gale

It sounds like the tightening bolt is dragging in the slot. Perhaps your guide wheels are worn allowing the tighening screw to hit the bottom of the slot on your aluminum front rail. You should see signs of wear on the bottom lip of the slot.
