Altendorf f45 slider (mid 80s). Anything to watch for?

Like the title says, is there anything I should be watchful of when inspecting a older f45?

Look at the phenolic ways. If the slider has been heavily used and particularly if the slider made short strokes, the ways can develop a wear area. Altendorf went back to steel in the mid 1990s. Otherwise, check the normal stuff, motor, controls, fences, stops, and guards. Dave
