Hey everyone..
I have a couple of outdoor projects to do for wifey....A couple of adirondack chairs and a small table. I plan on using cypress but I'm not sure what type of a finish coating on them if any at all.. I'm in South West Florida... Hot, humid in the summer. Recommendations would be appreciated...

For any outdoor project, a finishing product that absorbs into the wood will be a superior end result. Avoid finishes that seal and sit on the surface, such as spar varnish, for example. Varnishes and paints will peel. One outdoor product I like and have had excellent results using is SuperDeck. It is an oil based semi-transparent stain and it comes in several color tones including Natural. CWF in another good stain and sealer for outdoor use, and is clear.
