Porter Cable 12" Laser Miter Saw Cleaning?

Years ago, I bought this 3802L 12" PC laser miter saw and I love it. I have a Festool slider, but the PC is my go-to miter saw. It cuts dead on square and 45. Thing is, it's a bear to turn the table from 90 to 45 and back. I'm sure it just needs a cleaning, but I'm afraid if I disassemble it to clean, it might throw everything off.
Does anyone else have this saw, experienced the same difficulty and fixed it?

I have what is probably the same saw with a Delta label and a similar problem. Mine moves OK 'til it get near 45o then it gets very stiff. I was just looking at it yesterday saying to myself "ya know, you really should take those 4 bolts out and turn that thing over ......." I'm pretty sure the problem is packed sawdust somewhere. Like you, the accuracy is very good and I don't want to start taking things apart if I can avoid it.
