Hello SMC,
Does anyone know, if print merge will work with an existing layout. I've use PM to make switchboard labels, from spread sheet. It makes however many pages the file has and then I use impostion layout and Bob's your uncle, engrave and cut. Easy.
I have an existing cermark job marking two different company names on SS labels, for which I have made a jig and have a matching .cdr layout teplate. Now the customer would now like me provide a spread sheet with batch numbers and have me add the batch numbers to the plates along with the company name. As I have this job already set up with template/jig, etc. I was wondering if I can add the batch text field to the layout and then import the data from customer provided spread sheet using Print Merge?
Anyone done this before?
