View Full Version : What type of clamp is this?

I got this a long time back and never really looked at it much or tried to use it. But as I got to looking at it I'm not sure how I would use it:confused: if you look at it as an upside down L then then the vertical part of the clamps have countersunk holes as if you could attach wood sides to protect the piece your working on. It was made by Craftsman, any ideas?

It's an inexpensive bench vise. You clamp the thing to your bench top with the screw shown at the bottom.

Edited to add: Not a great tool as I recall. My father probably still has his somewhere.
