I just bought a MiniMax FS30c Jointer/Planer and want to add some Aigner support extensions. (Any suggestions on infeed would be appreciated.)

I know Simantech sells them in the United States but I found a company called Scott+Sargeant in England that is willing to ship here.

The Scott+Sargeant online store is much better and their prices are about half of Simantech. Also, they have reasonable shipping to the US.

Has anyone ever dealt with them?

Are there any import fees collected by customs?

Is there another supplier I should be considering?

Thanks!

Joe

Call Simantech and ask, I bought a few Aigner tables recently and the pricing was very good and the shipping was low.

Just an example -

The Aigner Folding Table Extension (214113000192) is $323 at Simantech and $175.38 USD at Scott+Sargeant.

The Aigner 250mm Mounting Rail (212102000191) is $32 at Simantech and $18.89 USD at Scott+Sargeant.

I have a number of other Aigner items in the cart. Shipping from England is quoted at $75 USD.

I had a really hard time finding any US sellers.

Didnt some folks use some 8020 for extensions?

Thanks for the heads up. I'm planning on ordering one of the CPS Tx planer guards from them, may add some Aigner items as well!

Oh wow, last I checked they were $220 or something like that, with shipping it was a wash.

Peter Kelly - Have you ever ordered from them before?

I have not but other family members of mine in UK have purchased machines from them and have had positive experiences.

You could probably inquire about Scott & Sargeant on the UK Workshop forum.
