Highland Woodworking has a free shipping event a couple of times per year.
If there is a Lie Nielsen hand tool event near you, anything you order from them is shipped for free.

Not sure if this will work or not. But LN is having a big hand tool event early next month at their factory. You could try calling them during that event and order what you want, maybe you can talk them into free shipping since they would be giving everyone there free shipping. Just something to think about, all they can say in no :)

They haven't held one of those in quite some time. I usually order something from them when they do. I recently emailed them inquiring about upcoming free shipping promos and never received a reply.
