Breaking Them In

I'm the proud grandfather of 4 lovely grand children. The oldest is 5, then 4, 20 months, and 10 months. The 20 month old is a boy and the others are all girls. I would like to introduce them to wood working, a hobby I took up after I raised their fathers.

Any suggestions on what methods you-all have used to introduce your children and grand children to this wonderful hobby?

Sounds like your going to be making lots of toys and dollhouses!

I expect you'll be doing the building for some time.
I saw some kits at Woodcraft that might give you some ideas.

I know my Dad had a graduated approach. I started painting, then moved onto sanding, helping to assemble, then sawing dowels for him, etc.
