There's a news story making the rounds about an obituary written the children of Kathleen Dehmlow, a woman who allegedly abandoned her small children in 1962. She just passed and those children published an icey cold obituary. Reading it was a "holy cow" moment for me. I thought I'd pass it on. Link (https://www.yahoo.com/amphtml/lifestyle/will-not-missed-womans-abandoned-children-get-last-word-savage-obituary-222102049.html).

Mods, if you think this an improper topic, I understand. I went back and forth myself.

Meh... You don't get an obit like that for making one mistake and then trying to right the wrongs.... You get it for a lifetime of effort...

I don't think I am going to take the word of some DJ on a 10,000 watt radio station in North Dakota as the final word to if it backfired or not.

I have always said "When you die, make sure the world is a better place because you were here, not because you aren't here!" Remember, it's better to be seen, than viewed.

Icy cold is right.
I wonder if there is another side to the story. Maybe, maybe not.
Any more, with the news the way it is, I've been trying to train myself to remember that things you read and hear may not always be what they seem.
Thought provoking....
