This is my first attempt at a bandsaw box. Put a new 1/4" lenox blade on my new Rikon bandsaw and it cut though the cherry like a hot knife through butter. The handles are made from a scrap of black walnut. Did make a mistake in not making the droor fronts thick enough and the bearing on the router bit over ran the front and cut a small divet in the front. (Live and learn) Finished with spray poly and swadetex for the drawer interiors. Thanks for looking.http://www.sawmillcreek.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=26219&stc=1&d=1132426962

Dave, that is pretty cool. I like those boxes and it is about the only kind of box I haven't built. I actually bought Lois Ventura's book on bandsawn boxes, glued up a blank, laid it out and sawed it apart. Then I proceeded to knock it off the bench where it fell on the floor and shattered. I said some bad words and swept up the pieces. Since then I haven't considered band sawn boxes very much. But seeing your beautiful job I may just have to give it another try. Good work!!!

Thanks for all your kind words. John, most of the sanding was done with OSS & ROS. did final hand sanding before last coat of poly with 800 grit.
