A used 4-5 years old Griggio Unica 400 surfaced on my local auction website, I got hold of the owner and went in had a look

its near new condition, owner retiring from business, just want to sell his machines

after fierce online bidding, I am the new owner of this beautiful Italian made sliding panel saw, the carriage itself is 3850mm (about 150 inches). tip to tip is 7.6-7.7m (25ft), 3850mm wide (I may have to demolish part of the workshop to fit this monster in...)

price I paid is $3300 USD.

Really well done. I'm not sure if Griggio makes their own saw or it comes from Altendorf. If it uses ball bearings for the slider it is Griggio. If dumb bell rollers for the slider Altendorf. Either way it may be as good a deal on a slider as I've seen and I watch the market pretty carefully. It pays to have three phase available. Griggio stuff is well built. Dave
