Pat. date Mar.1925.
about 3 feet long. I know it is some type of clamping device and was probably a sub assembly of a larger machine.

Could possibly be from a Taylor Clamp system.

Yep. Could have been used in a clamp rack or "glue wheel"

Do you think there is any value to them? I have no need for that long of clamp but hate to modify them if someone can use them.

To the right person they have value. Someone doing panel glues on a regular basis, that would fit into those clamps.
You don't have the whole system there. Those were part of a clamp rack assembly.
I personally wouldn't modify them. They're in really good shape for their age.

It wouldn't take much to make a killer wall mount clamping station with those.
