Sawstop Fence Play and Front Tube Distance?

I finally installed the rails and front tube on my newly used CB industrial Sawstop. I read the manual and am confused on how far the front tube is supposed to be from the front of the Saw?

I used a piece .700” thick as a spacer and tightened the tube to the rail. The fence wobbles side to side.

I adjusted the white plastic glides a little and it’s a little less wiggly but now hard to push the fence into lock position.

I guess the question is what’s the gap supposed to be the fence set in?

Go to the SawStop website and look in the manual. All the assembly instructions and adjustments should be there.

Figured it out.

Move fence to far left and lock it down. Then push tube so the fence is about 1/16” from
The front rail. Now move fence to far right and lock it down. Move tube so it’s 1/16” from the front rail.

Snug up other bolts.
