I subscribed to the magazine for years, but I let the subscription lapse.
I recently subscribed again and today the first issue came.
I am not complaining, but the magazine is not the same.
We will see how the subject matter holds up.

One thing is pretty much the same- about one third of the issue is spent on ads or related materials.

That is not a unique problem to PopWood, to be fair. Fine Woodworking has 20% to 30% of its pages on ads, too. So Woodsmith is really something as it can survive without ads.

I enjoy reading the adds. Woodsmith is a nice read and they publish a lot of nice designs.
Popular woodworking is not the same as it was, but I will give them a year to see where they go with it.
I read both magazines.
