Spool Table?

Two years ago I picked up a bunch of pieces of oak which were purported to be a table. It was 5 small slabs, 4 legs and 4 apron pieces. Over this year I've been putting in some time on the project for LOML. I'm now at the juncture where I'm trying to figure ouit how large to make the lower table surface, and what the angle of the legs are to make them splay correctly under the table. The original sockets are chewed up!
Any help will be appreciated.:confused: :confused:
