My Laguna Fusion F2 table saw was delivered a few minutes ago. But you will have to take my word for it as most of the pictures are stuck on my iPhone. I'll post them once I can convince my MacBookPro to talk with to my iPhone instead of just beeping .

Good for you. Looking forward to your impressions as I have not seen one.

I'll provide my impressions as I proceed tomorrow morning. I want to have both of my sons here to help. That bugger is a beast.

Only impression I have at the moment is that they sure used a lot of nails in the shipping crate lid. :D

Minimax is the same. When my bandsaw showed up I figured I just scored a bunch of utility lumber too, but after dealing with all the nails there wasn't a single usable board left.

Congrats.
It looks like a nice table saw. Have fun with your sons getting it up and running.

I'd rather it be "over crated", than "under crated". ;)

Congrats Marshall! I think you'll enjoy that saw for many years to come.

OK. The saw has been setup and I've made both a rip and a crosscut. Both came out very clean with no burn marks and no binding issues. It also passed the nickel test. Only two small issues. The right side wing had to be adjusted but the left side was dead on from the factory. Only other problem is the fence doesn't slide as smoothly as I would hope but I'll keep fiddling with that. IT does lock down square to the blade etc.

I'm a happy camper now. Picking up some wood and a jointer tomorrow. Still need to clean out the garage some and figure out tool placement.

Very nice, now get some sawdust on so it's not so shiny and new looking!

I had to install both wings on my Unisaw when I set it up..
Put a good coat of paste wax on the top. I'll give some rust protection and help the fence as well as the wood slide smoother.

I like the fact that the saw came with the wings installed as that really simplified things. Already got a coat of wax on it and I will add another coat or two before I finish.

Thats cool Marshall! I've not seen one in person, curious about the fence, is it a Biesmeyer clone, pics?

Yes, its a t-square Beisemeyer clone. Pretty substantial too. I'll see about getting some pics for you.

Fence pics as promised for Steve. I had a similar fence on the Sears Zip Code saw I had 10 years ago but this is the best fence I've had on a table saw.

Oh yeah, I like it! Aluminum tube or phenolic faces? I can't quite tell on my phone screen.

Aluminum tube. Not sure which I would prefer as I have never had phenolic faces.

Nice new saw. Let us see its first use too.
