One last post before the holidays. Pretty nondescript maple piece measuring 9-1/4" dia x 5/8" tall. Approx 1/8" thickness. Tried texturing on the rim which photo doesn't show very well. Used a needle scaler for texturing. Friction polish and then buffed with Beall system. Thanks for looking.

Very nice! I like the textured rim. Where do you buy your plate stands?

Very nice Keith! I like the rim treatment also. Just enough coloring in the wood to add a touch of elegance.

Hi Keith,
I must say, that is very nice, I also find the texture to influence the piece. I think that's the first work of yours, that I've seen, that will hold soup.

Keith, I really like that, the texturing in contrast to the smoothness of the rest of the plate/platter is wonderful and the beads framing the texture are just perfect. And perfect is pretty darn good. I love your cute little bottom as well.:p  Great job, nice looking piece!:D

Keith,

Nice, Nice, Nice!

Love the texturing around the rim! Nice selection of the wood for that - the grain is fabulous!
