Timber dog

Is there another name for "timber dog" in the US? I would like to purchase a half dozen of them...

I had them many moons ago but I cannot find a replacement for them and for my surprise I discovered today this video (https://youtu.be/ehiSOFuBlRo) from Peter Sellers on the subject and found how to make them in his web site, here (https://paulsellers.com/2014/11/making-your-own-timber-dogs/).

Of course you have to differentiate it from some kind of staple - those ones have some tapering to help clamp the parts they are applied.

They are also called pinch dogs quite a few places carry them. There are a few in my shop, but don't ask me where.
