Anybody get anything good thats woodworking related today?

I got a used Delta 13" planer today. Bought it off of a friend. Need to clean it up, lube etc but the blades and motor seem to be working pretty good.


A gun forum that I am a member of has a thread like this and it has been pretty well received. Lots of people post what new toys they get and its interesting to see what people are getting. Any long discussions on new toys are in separate threads. And this serves as more of an announcement.

I got my 35 ton log splitter started today!!! Got through about 1/3 of a cord before my back said UNCLE!

I got eight 250' rolls of pre-glued maple edge veneer in the mail today! Not sure it's "good," eventually I'll have to apply all of it. :(

I got my first order to run some baseboard and shoe molding on my new to me W&H molder. Should be fun, and the machine will start to pay for itself.
