Electric Fireplace Mantel and Surround

After 2.5 months of working on it here and there when I got the chance, the fireplace is done... it was my first big project. First time using a table saw and router. I learned a lot. I learned what I don’t like doing (crown and paint). While I know where the mistakes are and they will haunt me every time I look at it, I know for what it is, I’m damn proud of it.

Thanks Jim! In hindsight, I wish I made the pedestal a bit wider... but for a first go, I call it a success.
