I will be in St Louis this afternoon and would appreciate some resturant recommendations. It is my first time in the city and I am hoping to get a taste of the best (not fanciest) food the city has to offer. I typically search for steakhouses, but a couple of folks who are steak afficianados (as I like to claim to be) say it is not the meat mecca I anticipate. I am told, instead, to search out "The Hill" (sounds like a kiddie drama on Fox) for Italian food.
Thoughts? Any creeker out in St Louis feel like joining me for a late afternoon drink? I would invite y'all to dinner, but I fear my client will insist on meeting me. I arrive around 430.
