i have a blum challenge... hoping to learn from the SMC brain...

in the next kitchen, i have an upper corner cabinet, full inset face frame. i've done corner cabinets overlay and euro, but i don't know how to do this inset.

if i use the 79B3598 clip top 45 hinge, it appears that i have to block out behind the face frame, and, back cut the face frame so that it's flush with the case?

any guidance? thanks, much appreciated.

Use the behind the frame plate and a half crank hinge. It's not my favorite hinge plate, but it's what I use in any application where I don't have cabinet carcass to attach it to.

martin - the 9mm face frame plate? good idea. that's a fine solution - thank you.
