As we say here in Texas I'm "fixxin" to begin work on my first grandchilds crib and was considering whether to chronicle my adventures as I progressed through the project, and if so should I just start a single thread and update it periodically with my progress (or lack thereof:rolleyes: ) or should I perhaps start a seperate thread weekly?
No matter how I post, everyone please feel free to make any suggestions or comments regarding possible design changes or anything else that may catch your eye both positive and negative.
Below is a samble version of the crib I am going to make, the design is from American Furniture Design. I plan to make several design changes including modifying it so that the back can serve as a headboard for a full size bed and changing how the ends are attached (I don't like the idea of a screw head being in the front). The crib is going to be made of maple with walnut accents throughout.
