Today we honor all of the Men and Women who served this great nation during the Vietnam War. If you have the opportunity to see or speak with a Vietnam Veteran today please thank them for their selfless service to our Nation!!

Did not know of this. Thanks to all Vets of all wars. My Dad was a Vet of WWII and I am Vet of Vietnam.

Yes indeed, thanks to veterans of all wars, and on March 29th, especially Vietnam veterans. I'd also like to honor the 58,000 American casualties of the Vietnam war, and the 2.5 million Vietnamese casualties.

Sometimes I think about the deep scars the Vietnam war left on our country which were very evident in the 70's and 80's. I wonder what the scars must have been like for the Vietnamese people considering their loss of life was 40x greater in a country a fraction of the size of ours. Not that I'm comparing levels of tragedy, just that I feel tremendous empathy for all.
