Pekingese Dog Woodcarving

Here is the latest finished carving. He is a Pekingese. He was more difficult than I thought he would be. He is all fluff and that did not give me much in the way of form to work with. All fluff and that smushed in face is about what you get. He is 5"t x 2.5" w x 6"l. Almost wish the photos I had were more a wagging tail. Its just flopped over his rear end here. But I get what I get.

Yeah,they are blobby dogs....but you didn't design it !! The face is quite strong considering the the flatness and darkness.
If he had a cartoon balloon statement it would mimic the example of the Elephant Man....."I am NOT a mop! I am a DOG!"
