I want to download engraving text from customers emails to Mac Pages on my Mac in my office, transfer it to a thumb drive, carry it to my shop, stick the thumb drive into my PC (not online) and transfer the Pages data to CorelDraw without losing formatting. Is there a simple way to do this.
Thanks

Try saving to a PDF before putting them on the thumb drive. Just a guess.

In 16 years of using Corel I still haven't figured out the 'keep formatting' thing, sometimes it will, sometimes it doesn't, even within the same job and using the same source material. Always a crap shoot. I just copy, paste, and hope. :)

Mike's suggestion of saving to PDF is good. One important issue regardless, you MUST have the same fonts installed on your computer that your customer used in their original documents or all bets are off. Even if text can be curves in your job, another crap shoot is Corel's 'import text to curves' function. Usually I just get my default font instead of curves...
