I recently bought a slightly used Jet combination 6X48 belt and 9" disc sander from a local woodworker who calls himself zinfella on the WW forums. Now I need to add some spare sandpaper, probably from Klingspor. I do home shop woodworking, building cabinetry, furniture, boxes, and things useful around the house for myself and referrals. I have a couple of ROS's, so I'm not looking to attain a final finish with this new tool. Belt grits are readily available from 36 to 320 and discs run 36 to 220. I had a combo sander years ago, and I remember having lots of belts and discs unused when I got rid of it - it was not a good tool. What grits do those of you that own a combination sander find that you use most often? Thanks.

I just leave one "grit" on my combo...100. It only gets used for shaping wood, so I have no reason to go finer. (I do have a coarser belt, but haven't used it at this point)
