Leigh TR I400 dovetail jig

Colleagues: saw a reference to this jig on another site. 'Nevva' heard of that model, so I looked it up. Reminded me of the Keller jig system.

Anyone here have one, seen it in use, etc. I mostly do my dovetailing via dovetail spines on box corners, but am curious about this jig.

I borrowed one from a friend of mine for a couple of projects. It worked great! I thought setup was easy and it produced nice clean cut dovetails. I plan on buying one myself in the near future. I keep holding out for my friend to sell me his.

IMHO, you'll get a lot more for a lot less with the Original Incra Jig:

IIRC, the RTJ400 only makes equal spaced DT's and finger joints. You can make equal or unequally spaced ones with the Original Jig, and easily make your own patterns, too. If that one looks too simple, then step up to the LS Positioner, still a lot less than the RTJ400. With both of them you can gang the tail boards together and cut them in batches, rather than one at a time. With finger joints you can do that with all the parts. Saves a lot of time.

Colleagues: except for curiosity, I have no real interest in this jig.

As I posted, I never heard of this jig and was wondering if it was knock-off of the Keller Jig or an improved version of the Keller.
