Just wondering if anyone knows where one can get a AO wheel for an 8" grinder that is 120 grit or higher. I have an 80 grit and a 100 grit, but I'd like a finer grit wheel for getting a more keen edge ground on my turning tools.

I've found that an edge ground on my Tormek cuts better and last longer than when ground on the 100 grit wheel. Thoughts, ideas?

Actually, the 120 grits are far easier to find than the 100! I prefer the 100. The 120 generates too much heat in many cases, but I have two grinders available and have the 120 for "special needs" on the alternative...along with a very course "tool maker" that also handles the mower blades.

I don't like fine wheels, I use the tool off my 46 or 80 grit Norton SG wheels

I got my 120 grit at Woodcraft. I wouldn't buy it again. I'm no expert sharpener but it loads up quickly and heats up quickly. I'm learning a lighter touch. FWIW
