Last March the 5th Annual World Wood Day was held in Long Beach, California, with most of the work being done at nearby Cerritos College.
I was just sent this link to a short 25 minute documentary of the collaborative process where 20 woodworkers and sculptors from all over the world gather and decide together what they are going to make and then set about making it.

It's very watchable and gives you a flavor of the work they did.
Most of us beaver away alone in our workshops so it looks both a challenge and an inspiration to work as part of a team like this.
