This is a recently completed hollow form (about 7" tall). Full disclosure---my wife and I were blessed to spend a couple of partial days with John Keeton and his wonderful wife Eileen. I did more learning than turning, but it was a great experience. The Keetons were very hospitable and John was very patient while sharing his skills and knowledge. Thank you John and Eileen! It's now time to "fly solo" on one. C&C welcome.

Very nice, great form and finish.
Is that a band of inlay on it? If it is it's a nice added touch. Great job!!

Looks like somebody was paying attention during class. Very nice piece Tim.

Thank you David and Daryl. The band is actually an acrylic polymer technique with a blend of paints which I learned from John at John C. Campbell.

Very nice work Tim! John told me that you were a really good student and would be able to build on what he taught. This piece proves his point! Thanks for sharing!

Tim, that vase really shows well! Great job.

Eileen and I thoroughly enjoyed having Tim and Mary Ann visit! The ladies shared knitting time and Mary Ann taught Eileen how to knit socks, which has cost me $100 for new knitting supplies! Tim and I had a lot of fun in the shop and it is obvious Tim has artistic skills that I suspect we will see evidenced in future postings.

Keep up the good work, Tim!
