Hello!

So i'm thinking of constructing a diy fume extractor. I read all the posts and decided on the rectangular box. Air in from below through 16 by 25, 5 inch merv 16 hepa and three two inch layer of charcoal, out through the top by centrifugal blower. Space between all the layers for the air to spread and not block airflow.

So has a 1200 pa/0.17 psi centrifugal blower got enough pressure generated to not loose more than a third or half of cfm pulling air through the system? It will stand next to the laser so not much pipe lentgh to consider

Thanks guys!

Just my opinion, but don't overthink it---

Build it, try it, if it clears the smoke from the lasers enclosure, call it a win :)
