I want to purchase a spare set of 16” planer knives. Does anyone have a source or brand they favor?
Any recommendations as to HSS, carbide etc....<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

Paul, Here's my sourcehttp://globaltooling.bizhosting.com/planer_knives.html (http://globaltooling.bizhosting.com/planer_knives.html)
They sell T-1 Knives, T-1 has more tungsten makes them more wear resistent than M-2 which is what most knives a made from. And there prices are pretty hard to beat.;)
