I am building a mid century modern style desk for my daughter and am ready to make the drawers. I am using some old, well seasoned and nicely figured cherry that I don't have any leftovers if there is a mishap. One side of the drawer(s) is a 90 deg. angle and the other side is 7 degrees. I blew the dust off of the old PC Omnijig and am having difficulty getting good results with the angled side dovetail. Seven of the drawers are small and two will be large enough to hold hanging file folders--but still just 9" wide so not much of a load. I would like to do conventional joinery and not attach the fronts to a box and need suggestions from those in the know if Dominoes and butt joints would be strong and longlasting for this application. Drawers will slide wood to wood with no mechanical glides. Thanks.

Could you explain the 7* part? Are you saying your carcass is out of square by 7*? Is the front or back smaller?
